The new Pet Sematary trailer looks like a Subaru commercial.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Thats a very long articletragabigzanda wrote:They Came. They Sawed.
In 1973 a ragtag group of Texans scrounged up $60,000 and created a film so violent and visionary that it shocked the world. But if you thought The Texas Chainsaw Massacre was strange, then you haven’t heard the story of how it got made.

That's a great article. Gunnar Hanson's memoir is also worth reading.

I was so disappointed by the late '80s movie; it was awful. The book has some of the most intense sequences Kings has written (at least as of then).bart wrote:The new Pet Sematary trailer looks like a Subaru commercial.

Re: List Your Top 10 Favorite Horror Movies
The book is probably his best. The scene where he's taking Gage to bury him is particularly good. Actually reminded me of a scene in Things Fall Apart, though somehow I dont see a coked out King making a purposeful Chinua Achebe reference.
