Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Re: The Running Thread
I ran an hour on the TM last night, then swam a mile in the over-chlorinated pool at my gym.
I could barely raise my arms today, but managed another hour run. Pretty happy.

Re: The Running Thread
I'm supposed to swim another mile tomorrow after an hour run.
I don't see that happening. My arms are dead. I couldn't lift them to wash my face today.

Re: The Running Thread
I generally don't condone buying cheap running clothes since Target's C9 line went into the toilet several years ago, but I bought a couple of Russell singlets from Walmart for $3 a few months ago and they have held up surprisingly well and the wicking material is great.

Just bought some fancy new Tracksmith running tights. My dick is about to be coming at people in 3D.

NB1400 v6s were awesome. Think there's a good chance I'll keep them over the Bostons.

6'0" and 162
My normal running weight is 145 to 150, so I actually need to lose a few, which is why I've been swimming a mile 3 times a week.

I ran in NB for 10 years and switched to Adidas about 3 years ago.verb_to_trust wrote:Traitor
I love the Boost material, but I do worry it is making my form shitty. It kinda rewards me for heel striking and that isn't good.

Re: The Running Thread
Can I ask you guys a serious question? I haven't run regularly or consistently for years. I'm out of shape. Running isn't my issue, I know how to generally ease back into it, but I can't get my mind right about it. I get bored. It isn't even a motivation thing other than I'll say to myself "ugh, I'll go for a run but will be bored for the next 30 minutes". I used to run like crazy, races, triathalons, but I don't know what happened. I want to get back into running shape. Do I just not have it in my mindset anymore?
