I was really hoping Mike McCoy was gonna be fired today, but the day after the Broncos game (Thursday night) has a certain symmetry to it.

Next week's MNF match is garbage. I know Atlanta looked good going into the season but why the Giants game was picked for the schedule is beyond me (other than the NFC East thing).

Other than the Rams, the NFC is a complete mystery.

I'm not actually sure how good the Saints are, last week's win was really their only impressive outing.

The Eagles, Vikes and Pack look completely average and all have pretty tough schedules.

I could see a bunch of 8-8 teams fighting for playoffs spots.
