Well when something is good it’s not long before it’s infected by assholes and ruined for everyone.

So RM can sleep safely :)

You can’t properly judge TLJ without 9 just like you couldn’t judge empire without ROTJ.

It’ll be grand.
I'm holding you to that!!

If I’m still here and we’re all lucky enough to still be here, I will be here for you
I am thoroughly confused. Why wouldn’t this counter add 3 days and then the hours counter would be at 16?

Yeah your post confused me even more

It’s a countdown to episode 9 clock. Why would they add time to a countdown clock?

It’s strange that the hours on the counter are above 24.

So if you were ever in any doubt about trolls and bots attacking Rian Johnson and TLJ discourse in general, check this out.
Primer- Ethan Van Scriever is the leader of the comicsgate movement online and basically king troll anti women anti gay etc etc
Chuck Wendig is an author who’s been at the receiving end of abuse on twitter for three years now for making a main character in his Star Wars aftermath trilogy gay. He was hired to write another Star Wars book and a Vader run of comics for marvel and was last week fired from these two jobs for basically responding to the endless abuse he’s been getting daily using strong language and calling out the homophobia and misogyny and personal abuse he got every day. Disney / Marvel really screwed up here in firing him.

So what did Van Sciver have to do with this?

Made a YouTube video or two and tweeted. Huge dog whistle and you can see the results both real accounts and fake ones all coming at Chuck. It’s in the second graph

Van Sciver is a dick. I’ve interacted with him on a couple of other boards.

I can't believe they fired Wendig. That's absurd.

Anything that could remotely cause outrage is quick to be dealt with to minimize the effects to the big corporate entity of Disney (or insert your favorite big business)

It's nice when it happens to the bad people, but unfortunately in this day and age the pendulum will swing both ways and grab the good as well.

LOL. If you read through the Chuck Wendig twitter thread someone is inferring that Chuck should be careful because he has demons in his closet. He get's a little handsy at conventions and the tweeter knows some women that have been assaulted by Chuck.

Sheesh.

Rather conveniently timed wouldn’t you say?
He’s been doing conventions etc for years and never a peep about anything of that sort of behaviour from him. Plus victims don’t make insinuations. It’s obviously bullshit. They’ve been doing this stuff and worse to him for the past three years. I didn’t love the aftermath books either but I’m not online all day abusing him. The usual troll farm MO

Yeah, it's just the climate now and how people handle things. Well, how maladjusted people handle things. The internet makes it easy to spray vitriol from behind the safety of a screen.

That is "Light of Life" by Yayoi Kusama at the NC Museum of Art. It's a hexagonal box full of mirrors and constantly changing LEDs with 3 holes for viewing.

I saw one of her amazing light installations at a festival here years back. I was in an altered state and stood there for must have been hours. She’s a magician
