It's a commentary on contemporary mores.

Seasons 4, 5 and 6 are the sweet spot.

It really starts to fade at the end of 7.

The Susan storyline blunted George's character, which is probably the best character in TV history.

The Susan storyline is genius for many reasons, not the least of which is how she dies and nobody cares. So perfect.

Didn't the cast even say they regretted/hated the storyline?

More that they didn’t know what to do with it anymore, so they killed her.

i thought she was written out because the actress was hard to work with, in the sense that she never clicked with the main cast.

I just think the engagement storyline by and large relegated George to a one-note character.

I'm not saying it didn't result in funny moments, but I grew tired of it at the time and during subsequent viewings of the show.

Yea, they talked about how she just didnt have the same sense of humor or ability to connect in the same way others had.

Im with LV on this, George getting stuck in an engagement is fucking hilarious and brings so many great moments and development out of George.

The only season I dont really care for is Season 1.
