i really debated picking Doom for my last pick. More than any other game i've considered, i think that one would really suffer from the time passed since its release. I'd still totally log many hours with NHL 95, but i suspect i'd get sick of Doom pretty quick these days.

I jump back into it every now and then and have a good time. I wanted an FPS on there somewhere, and somebody's already got Half Life 2, so I figured I'd go for the "most influential" one.
