Re: The Stone Temple Pilots Thread
I love the production and Glide is the weakest track (though there are no bad songs).PHATJ wrote:No, he said he hasn’t given it a real chance. I’ve listened to No.4 hundreds of times. And it has some of STP’s absolute best songs. Glide and Atlanta are right up there with the best of STP. But No.4 is really uneven. It has those highs, but it it riddled with lesser songs and bad production. It’s still a solid album, but I think it clearly the weakest of the first 5.bodysnatcher wrote:PhatJ is apparently taking the same drugs that Rangi is on

There are some terrible songs on #4. Same with Shangri La.
Purple is the only true top to bottom album

Shangri La

Outside of the worthless non-songs "Wet My Bed" and "Press Play", I'm not sure there's a bad track on the first four albums. There are some real pieces of shit on Shangri, though.

First up SilverGun Superman is nowhere to be seen. That should easily be a top 5 contender

There’s only a few songs on your list that I’m not into. I generally love STP. They might be my third favorite band of all time.tragabigzanda wrote:yeah yours is super different
