If that came out now, it'd probably come with a health warning.

OK, I'm going to choose a game that blew my mind as a kid. It was Goldeneye, but better.

LOL. Perfect Dark was not even in the same league as Goldeneye.
Buggy as hell and the maps sucked.

The framerate drops were part of the fun, for me. I didn't notice it as a problem. It was slow-mo mode, I thought. The story with the aliens and everything was so cool. You guys are dumb for thinking it's not better than Goldeneye.

Quite the double standard there for games that have held up from that time and those that have not. "Frame drops were part of the fun!"tree_ wrote:The framerate drops were part of the fun, for me. I loved Perfect Dark at the time though. Especially some of the guns.

Coleco was better with the joystick above the 10-key pad.Monkey_Driven wrote:Whatever, this looks very intuitive...

I agree. I'm just running out of ideas. Nostalgia took over on this one. I haven't played it in many years.Monkey_Driven wrote:Quite the double standard there for games that have held up from that time and those that have not. Those ridiculous slowdowns made it unplayable to me.
Then there were a lot more of the "arm and gun through the wall" glitches in PD.

The game would have been much, much better if they had just waited for the Gamecube generation.run2death wrote:Those ridiculous slowdowns made it unplayable to me.

I wish Jammer was unemployed so he could pick a good sooner.
