I think all round 1 matchup should be active at once.

Just one at a time. Let's draw this out as long as possible and see how long it takes Pete to explode.
The longer this takes, the more validated tree gets. We can't have that.

Man, I gotta say, all joking aside, I love my team. I still don't expect it to get a lot of love in this tournament. But as a reflection of my tastes over the years and as a collection of things I genuinely love, games that have brought me so much joy... it's a really great team.

Thanks for hosting this M_D. This has been awesome!

1 match at a time plz. With long write ups and so many games involved it's the only way.

You're one of the most beloved members of RM. You'll get to the semis easy.

The merits of your team are irrelevant.

I appreciate how hard you're banging this drum, friend.

But RM doesn't like me that much. This last year or so has proven that.

R2d wins. Goldeneye and eternal darkness. That’s the best obvious/deep cut combo anyone picked. If he’d picked bionic commando on nes, there’d be no point in voting.

I won't win because the system is rigged.

I haven't played nearly this many. I am going to vote just on the games I've played, which is going to make some match-ups very easy.

see my assumption was that we would all rely on videos and reviews for games we haven't played (except RDR2 of course). This is disappointing.
I'm taking reviews and "best of" and "greatest" lists that I've looked at into consideration (this is how r2d beat bada, for me). But my own experience is weighted far more heavily and I'm not going out of my way to look up each and every game.

I think there's a bit of the games' reputation and influence in my calculus as well, but if someone picked 2 games that I played and loved, and another team has two games I played that were just ok, it's gonna be hard not to choose the former.
