Soundgarden - King Animal -

When a band is but a fraction of Pearl Jam, but they aren't zero Pearl Jam.

Jesus, Incessant Mace sounds unbelievably good here. Thought it was the studio version playing at first...

Wow, there was a lot of dirge in that set. But, the band sounded phenomenal. Perfect recording too!

This show always has good sound. One of the only music shows that really cares about how the music sounds.

Was about to say...they really fucking nailed Blind Dogs and especially New Damage (not sure why this one was never played more often, the riff is so good). Thanks for posting the full show, I had only seen ATDB and Slaves before from this gig.

I've always been annoyed that Ed doesn't do this. He's got two more-than-serviceable guitarists.

I have bones to pick with them, for sure. But I hope I balance those out with some positivity.

Evidently Kim's been in touch with Endino lately about old recordings, there's always hope! We need that b-sides compilation asap

Pretty sure the band said that the Christi cut was without vocals. Would that be better than the Reading version? I'm not so sure.
