I bought Mario Kart 8 digitally only. Haven’t felt any difference. Have often thought about why the Xbox needs to have a cd inserted every time I want to play a different game.

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
I buy a ton of games digitally, but it's almost always due to a major sale or because I know I will absolutely love it. But I also know they will be available in disc form years from now if I wanted to go that route as well.Anders wrote:I bought Mario Kart 8 digitally only. Haven’t felt any difference. I’m very much addicted to this game right now. I know you can unlock fast travel but I kind of like riding around everywhere.

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
I remember barely fast-traveling in RDR. On the one hand, the map wasn't enormous, and on a fast horse you were rarely more than 3 minutes from anywhere--but it was also just somehow relaxing in a way that driving in GTA or running through the woods in Elder Scrolls isn't.scrub12 wrote:I’m very much addicted to this game right now. Same--I probably wouldn't have enjoyed a game like this 10 years ago, but at this point in my life I love it. The mark of a good game is how much you think of it after you stop playing and I've been thinking about this on A LOT. Of course it is new and all so ask me again in a few weeksscrub12 wrote:I’m having a lot of fun. Sure, there’s a lot to learn but it’s fun to explore.

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
I'm absolutely loving this game. My reputation is terrible though, like almost full outlaw. I forgot to do a manual save after the first chapter and few accidental run-ins took me down a bad path.
I'm considering doing chapter one again so I can have 2 different games running. One normal and one outlaw. Then I can switch between them depending on my mood.

I’ve determined I’ve been too nice in this game and need to be an ass. Although I did save some dudes life and he repaid me by letting me buy a gun on his dime.

The bounty hunts are great. Each are pretty different.
Found some gold bars and whew that helped a lot. Unlocking the fence guy is huge.

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
I've churned through a few horses. Gotta be some collateral damage, I guess.

What if they're already bow legged?tragabigzanda wrote:if your character doesn't get more bow-legged as your progress then this game is trash
