Re: Kanye West
what? Reborn has such a cool vibe and beat and the lyrics are very very warm and sincere. KSG, the song, has an instant classic chorus...and Cudi Montage is an example of good production besides the fact that Ye´s moment is gold.tragabigzanda wrote:KSG is a bunch of watery synth sounds and tired "Whoa Whoa" backing vox. I like all of them a lot. KTSE is underrated, but it's still the least interesting one. Haven't listened to Daytona yet

Re: Kanye West
I don't hate his music. I like KSG quite a bit. Cudi Montage and Reborn are two of my favorite songs of the year.LoathedVermin72 wrote:You guys will just hate him no matter what he does. Whatever.
However, I find his attention-seeking routine positively boring and have for a long time. If he puts out good music I'll still listen to it, but I don't think that everything else he does is performance art or deep and insightful. Maybe it's supposed to be and maybe it's just so genius that it's gone over my head, and you're welcome to argue that. I'll probably disagree, but that's fine. Nothing about any of his political commentary in the last two years appeared to be anything except a desperate attempt to get attention. I didn't find it to be ideologically or philosophically consistent or interesting or unique or thought-provoking. To my ears it just screamed, "Look at me! I'm saying things that you wouldn't expect a hip-hop star to say! What I'm saying is very unpopular and controversial! (Btw, while you guys are talking about me don't forget to mention that I have a new album coming out.)"

You know this isn't true of me. He deserves whatever criticism is coming his way for this MAGA bullshit "phase."LoathedVermin72 wrote:You guys will just hate him no matter what he does. Whatever.
That said, the records from this year are really good. Sometimes really fucking good. My personal fav is probably KSG. Trag is way off on that one.

Do we know his Worships thoughts on pearl jam and which is his favourite album? Or run of albums?
And which drummer does he prefer?
