Everyone should be listening to Idles, apparently.
Not me.
I am an out and proud curmudgeon and I have no interest in new music

To listen to this song as a singular moment truly brings out how amazing of a song it is. meaning, strip all that chaos that is michael jackson and the video....
Just listen.....
It's so good. his voice and phrasing is spectacular. And the beat...THAT BEAT.
Also the moment precisely at 4:14 gets me every single time. I feel so alive! You think he's gonna hit the "Thriller tonight!" crescendo again but a quick left turn with a "ooooooooooooh!" and hits right back into the groove....
Michael Jackson man. Absolutely.

Idles are fun. I respect the hell out of that band but they haven't really grabbed me.

King of the world. I am this last few days struggling with why why the good and the genius leaves us but the assholes and the evil get to stay.
Michael is and forever will be unparalleled genius

Yamasuki Singers: two French guys in the late 60s thought "hey, let's make a Japanese pop album". This would be decried as cultural appropriation today, and I kind of see it, but damn if it isn't addictive.

a Salt n' Pepa + Pearl Jam 'Push It' + 'Push Me, Pull Me' mash-up would do the world some good

"Push It" by Garbage was the best song ever as a moody 14 year old
