I think so. Mike and Brendan both have "piano" in the credits.

and there's been a rumor about jimmy shoaf and 'satan's bed', there is a weird drum/percussion (kinda drumroll or whatever) sound at the end of the song, what is it?

im still just really wanting a confirmed track list, i feel like that would at least satisfy me for a couple of weeks, then maybe a 2nd single getting released would help me make it till the 15th

I know it's the most current album but is Backspacer really being used as the model of what Pearl Jam is ? I mean RA and S/T are for the most part nothing like it. Same with LB and MYM. Sorry if I'm generalizing I'm still way too tired to be trying to communicate.

LB sounds very Backspacerish to me. MYM not so much but productionwise it does

Is 'Backspacerish' a dealbreaker though, if it's better? My issue wasn't the production as much as the songwriting. LB, for all its faults, sounds like one of the better Backspacer songs. And I doubt they would produce LB to sound exactly like UK anyway. Even if they did, I think it's structured more tightly and has more interesting parts. So yeah, I'm just wondering whether people are hoping it sounds nothing like Backspacer at all, or just that it has better songs?

But also, me too. It would be really fun to get a tracklist that was different to everything we've seen. Seeing Johnny Guitar on the last one was a real curveball.

I want better songs that sound like Yield
