If I were to buy a Switch, which games should I get with it first?

Breath of the Wild & Super Mario Odyssey are the easy answer.

Then Mario Kart 8 & Rocket League if you want some multiplayer/online action.

I like when Chud is happy. What game have you been playing?

Did you get a Pro Controller?

You should get a Pro Controller if they ever go on sale.

A Pro Controller is a must. And it's damn good.

I have a Pro Controller, but prefer the Joy-Cons.

For Mario Odyssey, I definitely prefer the Joy-Cons. Same with Mario Kart. I think I like the pro controller a little better for Breath of the Wild, though.

The Joy Cons are perfectly competent controllers for handheld mode or multiplayer, but the Pro Controller is superior in almost every way.

Definitely correct. The (not) Joy Cons buttons are tiny and the connection is spotty at times. You press a button and it doesn't register like WHAAAA?!

If you guys didn't have sausage fingers and pushed buttons correctly, this wouldn't happen. I've never had an issue with the joy-con not registering a button-press.

Do you have tiny hands?

Also the locking mechanism on my left joy con has been wonky since month two of owning the system. It's a really common problem.

I have boney hands.

I like the button layout on the Joy-Cons, the responsiveness of analog sticks and particularly LOVE the feeling of the Z triggers.

I've had no problems with the locking mechanism.
