This surprised me at first, since Idaho's not that much bigger than either of those states and I've grown up around far more escalators than that. But then I learned that the Boise metro area is at least three times bigger than the biggest metros in SD and WY.
The Boise metro area is almost the entire population of SD.

CNN discussing trump losing independent votes by 12 points as opposed to winning them by 4 in 2016 along with the major shift in women support are the signs that a blue wave did occur

Sounds like both sides will claim some victory, which is especially silly when you lose seats. Push the narratives! Bring on the gridlock!

If I accurately recall coverage from some time ago, this election was always going to be rough on Democratic Senators. Was there a similar consensus on the house? Is the house going blue well outside the expectations of say a year ago?

I've been half following this over the last few hours and have found it disconcerting just how much the focus has been on whether or not this could be reasonably described as a "wave"

EV would describe it as a wave

which is rare

The current geographic demo spread is the cost of multiple generations of young people who have fled from rural communities.

Turns out I’m the problem.

Could Iowa's entire House delegation go blue? Including unseating Steve King? Dems have already flipped Iowa to blue, and the others looks promising. that would be dope

Steve King losing would definitely take the sting off Ted Cruz’s re-election.
