Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

It makes me happy that jorg and I both think that Inside Llewyn Davis wasn't very good.

Why?

Because he and i have struggled to connect, but we both love the coens, and it turns out we both dislike the same coen movies. it makes me feel closer to him.

It's just kind of a miserable trudge with a lot of aggressively mediocre performances of pretty, boring (and pretty boring) music. I've only watched it once, but I was soooo booooooored

I did actually just listen to it at 2.3x and it isn't that bad. I say relatively smart things. And I feel like if it had outro music like the new episode, the ending wouldn't even be that awkward. Who convinced me that it was terrible? That wasn't nice.
