I'm not even sure why Giannis takes jump shots. He should just lean over and dunk it every time.

Yeah and no sense of urgency - down by like 20 every night. I had argued that the team would be fine when healthy but clearly I was wrong about that and underestimated the chemistry issues of adding superstars back to the active roster.verb_to_trust wrote:I haven't watched much but I get the sense they are having a hard time settling into their roles now that the whole team is healthy.Coach wrote:Feels like a season where they will keep building and hit their peak just in time for the playoffs. Still very early but agree it's been a very disappointing season for all that talent.verb_to_trust wrote:It's halftime and the only Boston starter to score is Irving. They are trash so far this season.
For what it's worth, there's been talk of having Hayward come off the bench - he still doesn't look 100 percent - and he agreed to come off the bench if that's what the coach asks.
Frustrating season thus far.

Remember when Boston fans didn't want Kawhi a few months ago?

It's a long season. They'll figure it out. They're a prime candidate for a 20-5 run or something after the Break.Coach wrote:Yeah and no sense of urgency - down by like 20 every night. He silver lining to the Sonics leaving town is that we didn’t have to deal with Durant for however many years.

The officiating in the Bux-Grizzlies game last night was disgraceful. Almost as bad as Bledsoe's 4th quarter free throw shooting.

I didn't realize how useless Draymond is now until all this scrutiny. He looks washed.

I think that shoulder injury last year really messed with his confidence.verb_to_trust wrote:I didn't realize how useless Draymond is now until all this scrutiny. He looks washed.

Re: NBA Thread
So, should be a good one tonight:
Records: Raptors (12-3); Celtics (8-6)
Although Leonard might sit out as a preventative measure (they had back-to-back games) or sit out the Raptors next game against Chicago

He's been really annoying to watch this season. Not sure why everyone is constantly slurping the guy.

Re: NBA Thread
Jaylen Brown is the one I can't take. He's talking about winning 5 championships by the times he's 28. How about shooting better than 65% from the free throw line first douche.
