Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

This was good, but to be honest I was way more interested in the episodes involving politics than I was the mob stuff.

My backlog of podcast episodes is getting unwieldy. I am trying to listen to every episode of Spontaneanation before the final episode airs in 10 weeks--I have around 30 left, and a new one comes out every week, so really it's 40. In the meantime I'm weeks behind on Serial, Magic Tavern, Adventure Zone, and everything else current. I have huge backlogs for TAL and Lore, too. And Star Wars Minute kicked back off with a new season today. I feel like I need a longer commute.

The new Aaron Hernandez podcast is pretty great so far.

This is easily one of the best podcasts I've ever heard.

It has been pretty good. Well researched and some of the content, like getting his bi curious high school qb on the record, has been impressive. Really wished they could have gotten phone conversations post conviction though. The stuff from the jail is interesting but he's still putting on a front.

That Decoder Ring episode was kind of annoying. The presentation and construction was lacking. Also, I agree with Joey - that guy is an asshol, and what he did to people is fucked up and cruel.

I know some of you guys are huge comic book fans but you gotta hear Kevin Smiths tribute to the late great Stan Lee. Fantastic stories and really touching memories of Stan from both himself and members of the audience

Oh, and I enjoyed the first episode of Conan O’Brien Needs Friends. Lightweight, but I laughed a lot.
