I don't know why I can't power through them. I've tried Kavalier and Clay, Telegraph Avenue and Yiddish. Maybe another one too. I hit the same wall when I'm trying to read a Safran Foer book too.

I saw him read from it downtown and was intrigued enough to buy it. But...didn't finish it. To be fair, it came out around the time I was planning my wedding and the subject matter depressed me.
