Not reading a Chabon and not finishing a Chabon are COMPLETELY different things. One is understandable, the other is inexcusable.

I don't know why I can't power through them. I've tried Kavalier and Clay, Telegraph Avenue and Yiddish. Maybe another one too. I hit the same wall when I'm trying to read a Safran Foer book too.

Re-reading before my trip to NYC. Lethem is a better essayist than novelist, though I do love several of his novels.
