What kind of hick southern bullshit is this? Hot sauce on any seafood is a big no unless you are getting fried Buffalo shrimp from Hooters or something.

And what’s with this southern shit? I was introduced to it at Union Oyster House in Boston years ago.

No, not in chowder. I've been known to use hot sauce on fried clams, but I can't think of any other seafood that I'd use it on.

Red and green chills go really well with seafood / stir fry. Maybe try those.
Hot sauce though, no.

In general I adore hot sauce/Tabasco and think it should be added to everything. However, the problem with that is that once you get hooked nothing tastes right without it. Which is wrong. So, I'm gonna say nay. But not because I'm against the flavor in and of itself but because once one is used to hot sauce one requires it on everything and that sucks.

Did you know there’s know one Tabasco sauce factory in the whole world?
And from seed to bottle it takes 6 years. It’s kept in wooden casks like whiskey and aged. And they use old jack daniels barrels for it. You can buy special aged versions that are even tastier and stronger.
