I've just realised: on the part where he sings "And when the lightning strike sets you free", it's the same chord progression (I think, or similar) to the bridge in Light Years. No wonder I liked that part, I really like Light Years.

Among those who have posted their views in this thread, I think I was probably the one who liked LB the most from first listen. It has grown on me more since then and even when I don't listen to it for a few days, the verses seem to be stuck in my head. Haven't heard a more infectious tune from PJ in ages. I'm a sucker for such songs; uplifting music combined with a not-so-happy theme (as I interpret the lyrics) is stuff that PJ is really good at.
