"retired"
This is hearsay, but I indirectly know someone on the OSU coaching staff. He's said Meyer has been off his rocker all season. On the verge of a mental breakdown, etc. He said the Meyer news was widely known by the staff midway through the season.

Are you (and other Buckeyes) happy with Day, or would like to see someone else?Joesanity wrote:I'm happy about this "retirement" as well.

Re: College Football
The school saved 35 million by not having to fire him. So it's pretty obvious what happened here.

Re: College Football
Did people want Urban fired for on field performance or for off the field issues? I’m sincerely asking. I can’t say I follow it closely. But isn’t his record pretty remarkable?

As I understand it, from earlier this year, They are Day to Day.

This is pretty good conjecture I think.

I like Day. I thought he did well the 3 games he coached to start the year. Can't say I know how he'll do recruiting, but I'm happy they went younger.Green Habit wrote:Are you (and other Buckeyes) happy with Day, or would like to see someone else?Joesanity wrote:I'm happy about this "retirement" as well.
I hope Schiano isn't brought back. I know Bosa leaving really hurt the defense this year, but nothing else the guy has done has really impressed me.

This staff member was not around during Meyer's earlier years with the Buckeyes so maybe this kind of behavior isn't new.Electromatic wrote:This is pretty good conjecture I think.Monkey_Driven wrote:"retired"
