They refunded :(
what’s ada?
Disability seating. From what I understand, the facility can't ask why you order disability seating, so anyone can purchase it, i.e. Strat and his buddies could've sat there and no one could've said anything. Chances are a couple of other dude bros just gobbled them up, but Strat can feel good that he did the right thing.

We sat on it for a day or so. We figured I could have slapped a knee brace on and called it good but.....ifs omething were to go down and we not get let into the venue....that's a risk we decided wasn't worth it.

Are all the other tickets gone?

I hope this is not the start of a hiatus, especially considering it’s been a bunch of years since The Waterfall and they did not play many shows this year either.

Wait...should we rank the albums? We haven’t done that in a while:

Z
It Still Moves
At Dawn
Circuital
Evil Urges
The Tennessee Fire
The Waterfall
Chocolate and Ice
The b sides albums

(Did I get them all?)

The Waterfall is pretty decent. Feels more fully realized than Circuital. Not as good as their pre-Okonokos stuff, but nowhere near as annoying/bad as Evil Urges.

Since touring with PJ they've pretty much morphed into PJ. Kickass live band with a past his prime lead singer who forgot how to write good songs.

I think Evil Urges has some amazing tracks but the middle of the record is pretty awful. Circuital is has two great songs and the rest trash.

I think the Waterfall was quite excellent though. Really enjoy that one.

Are you guys fans of the albums MMJ-minus Jim did with Bobby Bare Jr?

The band is so talented.
I haven't enjoyed the direction Jim's songwriting has been going. His vocal tics are becoming unbearable.

Every album has a few great songs though

I wouldn't argue that their recent albums are as good as At Dawn>It Still Moves>Z, but I've seen them 12 times since 2003 and Red Rocks 2016 was BY FAR the best.

Officially jealous but I am seeing them in August so that is good. I wouldn’t say the albums after Z are as good as those three but they are better than they get credit for on listens after the fact - all of them are solid after repeat listens.
