Watched "Queens" and "Antarctica". I was expecting the sadness to have faded a bit by now. Nope. They both really got to me, particularly "Queens". Bourdain's love of people was so pure. Makes me wish I were better.

Have a blast! I adore Lisbon. Any of the eps of various shows that Bourdain did in Portugal are great.VinylGuy wrote:Last time i saw something from him, it was the hong kong episode. Loved it. Now, im thinking i might see the Lisbon now, just to check out stuff because im going there in June.
I think it was a Parts Unknown episode in Lisbon where you features a band called Dead Combo. I downloaded several of their albums to listen to while walking around Lisbon and I'd highly recommend it. I feel like Bourdain's music recs are an underrated aspect of his genius.
