Can’t imagine that will ever happen given all the production drama

Gareth said he did one.

Then it wasn't on the initial release. So, there were rumors it would be on the subsequent edition. Disney does that kind of shit all the time to milk money. TFA had different special features on different versions.

Watched all three prequels yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed them. There’s so much in them if you just look.

Now watching and loving rogue one. This is a brilliant movie. Happy to come around on it fully. Some of the best story feeding the canon and best onscreen Star Wars there is.

I hope they do at least one more A Star Wars Story movie.

Kenobi would probably be my choice.

Kennedy is here for another three years. One last film after 9 would make sense.

Yep. It makes sense to do a "trilogy" of theatrical stand alone films. OB1 would be my pick, as well. But we'll see what happens.

Iger said back at the first shareholder meeting after the buyout that it was going to be a trilogy of standalones. I can’t remember if he said they’d all be set before a new hope or we surmised it but it makes sense they’d would be.
Obi wan just makes sense and is an ace in the hole at this stage even aside from my bias.

Yep.
Let’s see if they follow through. I’d say this was plan A but it got wrinkled with the Solo release and Iger insisting it be released in May to go into that fiscal year.
They’ll never leave Christmas open again I reckon.

The fact that Uncle Bob has owned up to "the Solo mistake" and blames himself for the May release is key. That gives me hope that we'll get more stand alone films. Or, at least, one more.

It was covered in Forbes or the Financial Times that he insisted he wanted it in that fiscal year, for reasons best known to himself. We’ll never know why. But he did.
Napzok and some few others among the more intelligent pods covered this at the time and nobody else did. It’s almost like an anti click bait news story. Why would they report that when the SOLO BOXOFFICE DISASTER! Angle is so much more tempting for clicks.

But he did own it without specifying why. That’s something.

He’s supposed to have been stepping down from Disney for the last few years. It’s odd ‘those people’ don’t come after him.

Oh. Wait. It’s cos he’s not female.

I tried watching this last night, and made it to the attack on the stormtrooper tank on Jedha.

These new movies have great production, but I just can't get into some of the stuff. I think Rogue One gets bogged down in too much story (if that makes sense). There are too many threads going on that don't make it feel like a cohesive story.

Maybe I'll continue again tonight.
