Apparently the rights agreement they signed with Legendary says that a Japanese Godzilla movie cannot be released in the same year as an American one, so this movie and its sequel forced a two year postponement of Shin’s follow up.

I don't understand the beginning...was there a noise in the broadcast that was supposed to make me know what was going on there? I heard voices, she was looking for voices, and then she got scared.
