Many of the other albums had many repeat spins, taking me back to the good ol' days. :luv:
Something is wrong with the site. It shows Sgt. Crackpot with a world record setting amount of posts for just over a month.
Nope, nothing wrong with the site at all, man. 60% of my posts are animated gifs. 30% are just general nonsensical bullshit. 10% is a mixture of possibly useful information, and me declaring my heterosexual love for various males on this board.

It's quite easy to post a ton this crap in such a short period of time.

Edit: I was achieving an average of about 35 posts per day, but I'm now sitting on 27.57. Damn, I'm slipping.
I'm just messin' with ya. I have laughed at more than a couple of your gifs! :D

Those aren't throwaways!

That said, I kind of feel like all the songs we have so far are throwaways.
I don't mean to trash those songs but like I said, we've potentially heard half this thing already so the inevitable quirky fun tune or instrumental would just mean less space for the best case scenario for me, which is 4 or 5 songs I can load onto my ipod.
I know what you mean. I have a bad feeling that this is going to end up being the first Pearl Jam album that just flat-out does nothing for me. I would love to be wrong.

Right now I have a clear vision of you waste deep in fraternity refuse for the all mighty sake of Pearl Jam. So, I desperately need you to be wrong.

But, yeah, totally.

i never heard that REM on Later show. I should track that down.

To catch up

1. I don't like the RVM jam either
2. I do like the Mike/Boom crazy mary duel on occasion
3. both of those would be better if they happened occasionally
4. Nightswmming is an amazing song
5. MYM is still really good

1 for 5. Keep that up and you'll have your batting average above the Mendoza line in no time.

Don't worry man, I'll get to you soon. I'm slowly working my way through all of the men, like the dirty little slut that I am.

Well, ignoring that facts that I'm neither able to sing, write songs, and don't have a vagina, then - yes absolutely.

Is it possible this band just doesn't know who it is anymore? I don't know about the rest of you but I've been getting that impression. For most of their existence PJ is a band that has been fighting something: MTV, record companies, industry expectation, Ticketmaster, various social and political causes, themselves, etc. MYM is a perfect example for me: it's energy and and urgency seem completely forced, like Ed is trying to bring back the vigor of the early years without any clear target. Then you have utterly bland and innocuous tracks mixed in like FD and LB. Huh? What kind of band are we dealing with in 2013? I have zero excitement for this album based on what I've heard and that has never happened in almost 18 years of following this band.
