It's more a Bruce Wayne movie then a batman film. Batman is only in the film for like 44 minutes or something.

Never would have taken you for a fan of comic book movies, Stip.

I'm a big fan. If this makes you feel any better I'm probably going to write a paper on them this summer and so I was re watching them and taking notes. Now I just have to figure out how to string all this crap together into an argument.

The ending of DKR is still great. Very powerful.

Actually, it does make me feel better. Knowing there's an educational and literary element involved helps maintain the established order of this forum for me.

Wouldn't it be "Spoiler TAG free" given that there are plenty of spoilers in the thread?

that's gonna be the centerpiece of the paper.

Skitch, my daughter loves this promotional care bears dvd she got with a stuffed animal and there is some my little pony feature at the end. Sometimes when it comes on I think of you.

Goddamn I love the first Bane/Batman scene. Watching it again this morning. This would rate on a "best of" list for favorite scenes in a movie.

As impossibly corny and embarrassing as it seemed at the time, in retrospect I'm okay with the whole one-punch back fix thing...and here's why:

Wolverine: heals with time
Batman: healed by punching
Superman: healed by sunlight
Batman: healed by punching
Spiderman: heals by being emo I guess?
Batman: healed by motherfucking punching
(patriotic choking noises)

i read a spoiler accidentally so I knew, but I'm good at turning my brain off and experiencing movies the way the filmmaker wants you to see it, so I'm easy to get with that stuff.

I didn't see it coming, and it pissed me off when it happened.
