I know most of you hate this song, but I fucking love Leash. It is my favorite track on Vs. (notice I said "favorite" and not "best"). I love the power of the song, the aggressive playing, and Ed sounds fantastic. Sure, the lyrics are majorly dated (and probably weren't any good to begin with). But for me, this song has almost nothing to do with what is being said, and everything to do with the emotion it evokes. It is raw energy and destruction, and I love it.

I agree - great early PJ with propulsive guitars and bass.
And although the lyrics in the chorus aren't very good, the other lyrics are fine.

Bad lyrics, but amazing music, vocals, and performances. Vs. had an explosive energy they never recaptured.
