Re: new ticket distribution process/test
F5 always worked for me, but it's hard to argue that from a management perspective, this isn't better.

The times they are a-changin'.10 Club wrote: Question: If you are in a city where there are 2 nights of shows and you put night 1 as priority #1 and night 2 as priority #2, are you more likely to get both nights?
Answer: For this scenario we were testing out a function where we limit fans to only being drawn for one of the two nights. That doesn't mean that all PJ shows that have 2 nights will be limited, but in certain cities (New York, Philly, Boston, etc) where we have far more fans than tickets, we will want to have the option to limit fans to only being picked for one of the two nights, but not both.

Yeah, I know me too...and that blows. Go Ten Club!!broken iris wrote:I was kidding bro. I'll take F5 any day.Noaheb wrote:My humblest of apologies
Also from what I now understand only the 9 people who won the "goodies" were selected for "tix" still I'd rather F5 it any day...sunamabeech!
Interesting post from the pit:
That makes things even more interesting. And ridiculous. In reply to an emailed question, the Ten Club cited Boston, New York, and Philly as examples of higher demand markets where members could only enter for 1 night of a 2 night run.

Not me. I don't think I'll have a problem getting tickets for actual shows around my neck of the woods though.Dr. Van Nostrand wrote:I missed out on all of my first tickets with the new ticket systemdid anyone actually get selected for them?

Re: new ticket distribution process/test
Maybe we need an RM-ticket-hookup section.
I've got a good number (113xxx) and unlike 2006 and 2010 I will be solo for all shows outside of DC/Baltimore/Philly while the wife babysits.

what would be smart for them to do, is just make both shows available for one fan club pre-sale then... if everyone puts 1 as their 1 and 2 as their 2... 1 will fill up with all the high numbers, putting a long time member in the nose bleeds, and someone newer on the floor for night 2... that wouldnt be very fair... but of course then the 10 club would have to do more work spacing the 2 nights out lol
i got shut out, for the free stuff, i got emails the other day :9 booo

Re: new ticket distribution process/test
One might suggest the ticket lotto would be just as 'random'. Perhaps the more 10c swag one has purchased or more pit forum posts one has made (these taken as signs of being reliable, returning customers), the more likely one is that they will be 'randomly' drawn for tickets.B wrote:Yeah, that's not fixed.broken iris wrote:Some one form the pit won the PJ20 banner.
