No chance of that. Jj will keep it to the two hour fifteen minutes. Rogue one solo and TFA all that length.
TLJ will forever be the longest (and feel longer depending on who you ask)

B? Are Strat and B the same person?dimejinky99 wrote:Strat wrote:I have 0 expectation or desire on how i want it to be wrapped up.
I guess I lied.....I just want the movie to be good. To be exciting. Something different and surprising.
Smith also said there’s a huge WTF mind blower in a Star Wars sense.
I hope he means the whole thing but he seemed to be referring to something very in particular
It’s gonna be awesome B. We’ve broken the one year barrier at last
Let me tell you, Homer Simpson is cock of nothing!

Of note: The Star Wars show airs in about an hour from now. Maybe they'll have an early stocking stuffer for us in the form of a title?
Maybe?
Hopefully.....?

Re: Star Wars: Episode IX (2019)
There have LONG been rumors that Ep 9 will be the longest Star Wars film. Rumors are rumors and we'll just have to wait and see, but I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility. Especially with the precedent set by Infinity War.dimejinky99 wrote:Strat wrote:and it better be a 2.5 hour film! if not longer. MORE STAR WARS

I'm not saying it's happening, but it's certainly possible and if true, I'd be all for it.

Wow:)
Last week an article appeared in Esquire magazine talking about ‘those’ people who are supposedly fans of Star Wars yet are basically racist misogynistic homophobic arseholes. The author called them out. They went for him on twitter. Because of course they did. Now he’s written a follow up about their responses. Link to the (wonderful) original piece included inside this follow up

"The response to this article demonstrated that there's a core section of the Star Wars fandom that is rotten. And it's amplified by pervasive social media harassment and vocal far-right abusers.
Anyway, thanks for proving my point, trolls."
"Core section of society" would be better off.
Also, i do not believe the world is as rotten as the comment section on the internet makes it out to be. Its best if we just ignore these idiots who feel the desire to be online only to shit on everything and stir shit up.
Awful.

Re: Star Wars: Episode IX (2019)
I think it's just a vocal minority that is amplified by the internet. I was a part of a Kickstarter that was delayed over a year (finally received the product last week) and if you looked at the comments section during the year, you'd think everyone that pledged was up in arms, pissed off, wanting their money back, etc. When in actuality it's probably 40 people pitching a fit. The other 9,000 pledges went on with their lives.Strat wrote:"The response to this article demonstrated that there's a core section of the Star Wars fandom that is rotten. Man, I hope episode 9 isn't the longest one. I was looking at my watch several times during TLJ.

No teaser or title before Christmas.
Instead ABC will be showing a sneak peek at galaxys edge.
Oh well.
It’ll be January at the earliest or perhaps February. Called it.

It’s easy to call it when you predict EVERY WEEK that there will be something that week.
