Bummer.
The solitude of the open landscape plays a major role in the game's appeal and the story itself.

I can dig it, but there are a lot of westerns with a sidekick!
Several missions feature different members of your camp. I've actually grown to care for some of them.

I'm happy it wasn't an option.
What do you have against sex and nudity?

Same, Lenny's a good dude and surprisingly I've grown fond of Bill Williamson even knowing how his story plays out from the first. I'm finally nearing chapter 4 (I'm fucking slow, I know) and I'm real interested to see how they further develop Sadie. I don't find any of the characters annoying or extraneous like I thought I would given the size of the gang....

Finished chapter two after I got home last night. Really good game, although I often wish it was more open. I played Star Wars Battlefront II, and it’s obviously not an open world game, yet I often felt more free playing those missions. I have spent some time not doing missions, but mostly get a little bored with it.

It's an awesome game at all but I feel u need to put like at least 3 hours aside in order to accomplish anything.. I sometimes feel like I ride from place to place wayy more than anything else n they shoulda just called the game horse riding simulator

I honestly love that part of the game. The isolation and tranquility of the wild plays into both the narrative and character of Arthur Morgan. Some may view it as cumbersome, but I'm so glad the developers stuck to their vision.

It is cool at times, but also cumbersome as well.. I get why they did what they did, it's just sometimes I feel like it takes forever to get things accomplished

It definitely is a change of pace from most other open world games where maps are filled with random collectibles and side missions to explore. This game is not meant to be rushed through.

I’ve played a lot of Destiny, and I think I used more time «riding around» in beautiful surroundings there. So that part is nothing new. It doesn’t bother me. But it’s true that it can take hours to get things done.
