im getting more of a post punk vibe, specially in the drums. Its really weird to hear Trent sing that way in the intro.

I don't mind it but the verses are a little bit grating. Maybe it will make sense in the context of the full album. I read that this and Satellite were the two songs prepared for the Greatest Hits album that Hesitation Marks snowballed from them.

Yeah, post-punk too (although The Cure kinda were a post-punk band really).

I just mean in the sense that it's less industrial electronics, more live band. The drums are real, the riffs are crunchy, etc. Yeah, there's less polish.
