Burning good people on the stake, killing your brother with witchcraft, burning your sweet daughter. He’s horrible.

Lena Headey is the MVP of this show. Every scene she's in is elevated. Every scene she's in is a masterclass.

Rewatching with my girlfriend :)

Even better the second time around as many of the names and ideas are More familiar to me.

Halfway through season 1.

For all the people recently congratulating yourselves on re-watching the series ... I started re-watching it myself like a year ago. :finger:

One of the best revisions from book to TV is making Arya Tywin's cup bearer. That's an aces move!

The best change the show made was the conversation between Ned and Jon before he left for the Wall.

But yeah, making Arya as Tywin's cupbearer was cool to watch.

The Tywin guy is a fuckin fantastic actor. Such a commanding presence. You believe him down to his bones and would not fuck with him. Love him.

I disliked the Arya/Tywin scenes when I first saw them, it felt too Hollywood. Not natural. But seeing it again after several rewatches, I don’t mind anymore. Enjoy it for what it is.

The Jon/Ned scenes were great.

Now let's talk about the awful decision to replace Jeyne Westerling with fucking Talisa.
