HE didn’t know the first name nor the whole story about his father Brendol Hux and his relationship with Phasma. I couldn’t finish that book nor the two that followed. They’re really difficult reads in terms of writing style. (Aftermath trilogy by chuck wendig)

I have low interest as well.
I think I have more interest discussing SW than wanting to see the movie.

it's kinda sad .. ask The_Raz how excited I was for TFA and look at me now... Disney ruined my SW fandom... I can't even enjoy the original motion pictures anymore, really...

Re: Star Wars: Episode IX (2019)
Yeah, I was pretty pumped for TFA as well, the teaser with the MF exploding onto the screen. My eyes watered a bit, to be honest. And I liked the movie. but looking back (post TLJ) I really hate the "rhyming" (ugh) with Jakku/Tatooine, First Order/empire, Starkillerbase / Death Star (really? That is the biggest offense), hidden map piece in droid/secret plans hidden in droidtree_ wrote:it's kinda sad .. ask The_Raz how excited I was for TFA and look at me now... I left TLJ dumbfounded and sad. It's a nice looking picture and great production, but damn is it boring and some things that leave you scratching your head.
I did watch the first 10 minutes or so of ESB a few weeks ago, and it still held up for me, so I'm still OK with the OT
