No, I only count collected graphic novels. I know someone who does that and always ends up with >400 'books' at the end of the year. I only slightly agree with you on the audiobook issue, and that's because it's easier to stop a book and think about a paragraph, or to re-read a particularly well-crafted sentence. Podcasts have taken over and ruined me in terms of the time I spend and how I engage. Reading has taken a major hit. I need to fix that.
And yes, podcasts have become the surplus of my entertainment. I have at least pared some down because the content/guests were becoming boring.
