He left cause we're shite. He left cause we're shite. Robin Van Persie. He left cause we're shite.
So basically, Johnson and May spent Trump's presidency fighting each other over how best to sell the NHS to Trump.

Poor Arsenal
I'm not sure what Arsene's deal is - he says he doesn't want to overspend and then he waits for a calamity at the start of the season to seriously look at signing anyone. Surely everyone is going to rip them off now.

Better not to wind up with Suarez than to get Chelsea'd and wind up with an expensive underachiever like Torres?

Our decline won't be quick and painless, it will be slow and painful.

Re: The Beautiful Game (The All Inclusive Soccer Thread)
I love United in this transfer window.
"Hey Barça, we offer 22m for Fabregas."
"Naaah, we won't sell him"
"Ok, how about 19m?"
_____________________________________
"Hey Everton, we offer 12m for Baines."
"Naaah, that's way too low"
*wait a month*
"Ok, how about 19m for both Baines & Fellaini?"
In the meantime, the situation is the same as last year, and the year before, and the year before: if Carrick gets injured, there's no midfield.

(thank God there's Arsenal who make sure United's transfer dealing is only the second most hilarious)

Haha. True.
Also, it's getting more & more complicated for myself to focus purely on United. In Belgium we're immensely proud of having so many players in the EPL. THank God there's Januzaj who'll hopefully make some appearances, otherwise I'd be left supporting pretty much the one team without fellow countrymen.

NBC is doing a nice job so far with their Barclay's coverage. The only weak spot appears to be Kyle Martino on the pregame/halftime.

Got my USA v Mex tickets in the mail today.
Also have some pretty sweet aviator shades tinted like the American flag I'm going to wear to the game. I like to think looking through them is a lot like how a bald eagle views the world.....

Ozil to Arsenal. Awesome signing. But do Arsenal have the defensive midfield covered?
