Nobody is remotely helping this song by talking about "staying power" six weeks after it came out. Its a bit too much like saying "I still really like her," after the third goddamn date.

Re: Mind Your Manners
If I still like a song after 6 weeks - it's got staying power. I hate most new songs after the first week or 2.McParadigm wrote:Nobody is remotely helping this song by talking about "staying power" six weeks after it came out. I heard it on 92.9 when I was flipping through my presets the other day. I'm usually either listening to WBUR or Sports Hub.numbers wrote:I hear it on the radio all the time.cutuphalfdead wrote:I've heard it on the radio once but I rarely listen to any music stations anymore.Monkey_Driven wrote:Yup, haven't heard it here once since it was released.BurtReynolds wrote:I havent heard it on the radio, but the rock stations here aren't really doing the hard rock thing anymore. I hate AAF so much. They haven't been good since Opie & Anthony left.numbers wrote:they play it alot, BRU plays it alot, I've heard it on AAF too.cutuphalfdead wrote:I heard it on 92.9 when I was flipping through my presets the other day. In the long-run, I'm expecting MYM to be a really enjoyable filler song in the context of the album, like the less remarkable ones on Riot Act. Unless it's the best song on the album, in which case... fuck, we're all doomed.McParadigm wrote:Nobody is remotely helping this song by talking about "staying power" six weeks after it came out. MYM is quite good. If every song was at this quality I'd be thrilledharmless wrote:In the long-run, I'm expecting MYM to be a really enjoyable filler song in the context of the album, like the less remarkable ones on Riot Act.
