His rapping was just OK and the music/production on his albums was bad.
Agreed. I find his music boring as hell.
Thirded.
I like I Get Around and California Love. That's it.
California Love is the shit. I credit Roger Troutman more than anyone tho.

Look up Ahmed best and Michael Jackson. Jackson wanted to do it as a performance but Lucas wanted to go full cgi. And also didn’t want to hire him because it would be about Michael Jackson and Not About Star Wars coming back.
Read.

Is this the same site that told you Moonwalker was Joe Pesci’s first acting gig?
That’s in a Michael Jackson biography by Randy taborreli.
Nothing around the guy can be trusted. Wait n see what’s in the pipe on Netflix.
They’re coming for him.

So this music quiz popped up this morning and the first question was "What band does Brian Vander Ark sing for?" and I was surprised as I haven't thought about The Verve Pipe since maybe 2005. The whole quiz was about the band...are they doing something? I see they released an album last year but it doesn't even have a Wikipedia article so it can't have done too well.

They played a sparsely attended show here last year. My buddy's band opened and he said there were maybe 70 people there. Does that qualify as doing something?

I don’t even like that band on a cheese level.
And yet I know all the words..

That’s understandable though. It’s an all time classic. That said, even all time classics can be brain melting cancer when they’re stuck in your head with no rhyme or reason.
