There's no such thing as a slow news day anymore.

Trump's whole strategy seems to be to create a giant storm of news, make the storm bigger with fake news and "media" complaints, then hide in the black hole in the middle, protected by the general public being overwhelmed.

Sometimes it's just easier to shake your head and move on.

There will be a government shutdown of 14+ days at some point during the 2019-20 session of Congress.

If we count this shutdown as starting 1/2/19 for this Congress, this hits after today, doesn't it?

I have a new one. I thought about making this two separate predictions, but the more I thought about it, the more I am sure they will happen at the same time.

My prediction is: No woman will be elected to the U.S. presidency until both of the major parties nominate women as their candidates in the same year...and that first female president will be a Republican.

I didn't want to bump this thread too soon and snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
I think I'll have it as of the end of the day today if this session began on the 3rd. So I think I still need this thing to hang on for another 14 hours and 10 minutes.
