Same here. They could compensate for the shorter length with some interesting sounds in production, or they could something else. They could just leave it as the song it is. It might even be strengthened by being a more humble 3 minutes; or just more boring. I just don't know.stip wrote:Both porch and RVM came on shuffle on my drive home, and I wonder if LB live is extended the way those two are, and if so, I wonder how the condensed version works.harmless wrote:I'm waiting to be pleasantly surprised with LB. I would like to recind all rights to the the idea that something will happen on the 15th.
This is going to be a bigger flop than the the first pj.com one, when fuck all happens, and i fear harmless will finally snap and hunt me down for lying.

around 15th is a realistic guess IMO. I think they will release another single in the beginning of October.

Re: Lightning Bolt - October 15
I just noticed this, sorry if someone pointed this out already.
When AN posted the latest "rumored" tracklist floating around (http://www.alternativenation.net/?p=30997), "PJ" - the guy who apparently knew ahead of time about MYM and Sirens - had this to say: "2,4,5,6,8,9 are all legit. I have no idea about the rest." Which doesn't reveal a whole lot more than what we already knew but it does suggest that Sleeping By Myself is legit.

now i wonder if he is saying the songs and their position on the album are legit, or just the songs?
