Originally this sounded cool but now it seems way too convoluted. Leave it to Vicky Cornell to fuck up something good.
It does sound more and more like a Hollywood show. Nevertheless, I do wish I was there. I'm sure there will be some cool moments.

Honestly I’m pretty excited for Miley. She’s a killer vocalist

Some real thin skinned people on Facebook

Someone here putting on a tribute show to chris featuring local singers.

They named the gig ‘no one sings like you anymore’

I simply pointed out that calling it that sorta defeats the purpose of having people along to cover Chris’ songs, no?

Yeah they didn’t like that.

That doesn't make any sense (and seems a bit mean-spirited).

Buzz Osborne doesn't sing anything like Cornell but he can still pay tribute to him through playing one of his songs.

I'd qualify that as one of those Facebook comments that should have just stayed in your head.

Do we have an rip thread for rm’s sense of humour?

Either way. It was a stupid fuckin name for a night dedicated to him.

My sense of humor is intact...it just wasn't funny dude. And as someone who's participated in a CC tribute night that really meant a lot to the people who took part, if that's how you feel, put your own together with a better name. Or, you know, maybe go check it out, maybe you'll like it despite its stupid fuckin' name.

Possibly. I thought you were just agreeing that these people must be "thin-skinned" due to their reaction.
