Other than Pearl Jam, who else is there?

Stiltskin - a Scottish band. The lead singer went on to front Genesis, then left them after about 2 years.

This is a newer recording, but the song is from 1997. I love it so so much:

Talk about a one hit wonder. This got to number 1 in the UK, right?

I used to listen to this all the time on a guitar compilation album when I was 15.

This came out in 2000. But can have your third eyed blind and sponge, l'll slowly be going deaf to this jam.

Define "rock", bc that will severely broaden or narrow my posts

This is great. Huge riff is huge.

My dad was into these, and I liked the albums he played me. Very dated, it's the kind of thing you'd hear played on a Jamie Oliver cooking show, but it still holds up better than I was expecting.

I think some of the excellent hip hop records that came out in the '90's deserve a mention in this thread. Notorious B.I.G. - Ready To Die, Nas - It Was Written, Outkast - ATLiens, Jay-Z - Reasonable Doubt, Wu-Tang Clan - Enter The Wu-Tang and the majority of 2Pac's albums were all stellar releases. Unfortunately they don't make hip hop records like they used to.

edit - sorry, thought the title of the thread was 90's music, not 90's rock

Ween's one of those bands I've given a slight, vague chance thus far. It hasn't stuck yet, they're currently sitting in the same boat as Frank Zappa in my mind.

And we live in such a great era (post-proliferation of the internet) that it's so easy to find new bands & music from any era and discover them after they disappear into the annals of wikipedia.

I love "Reasonable Doubt," it's a candidate for my favorite rap record of all time.

sponge has some great songs (rotting pinata and new pop sunday are criminally under rated)

in concert they are nice but you only need to see them once as i am pretty sure 98% of their play list is embedded in stone
Did the Mother Fucker pay extra to yell?
