It's not uncommon for TV and movies to exaggerate how easily someone dies or is knocked out from a headblow. Remember how, the entire cast of Lost had been knocked out by minor strikes to the head with rifle stocks?

I would tend to think when Jigsaw wakes up next season at some point. He is only going to have fragments of his memory that will come together. He may not even know who Frank Castle is.
