That pitch in the 8th sure looked like he was being targeted. But that put the potiential winning run on in eighth inning. Surely it was just an accident, right?

Think there will be any Bryce Harper drama tomorrow?

He leaned into it. Also, Strasburg sucks.

I know Electro, that one hurts. Heyward has been all everything over the past month. I guess that will settle the playing time issue between BJ/Schaffer in the outfield for at least four weeks. Here's hoping Heyward can be back for the post season.

Re: Atlanta Braves
It should be sharpened spikes up all the time against the fucking Mets.
The clumsiest fucking morons in baseball.
These useless talentless douchebags took out Tim Hudson and a gold glove right fielder and lead off man.
BJ Upton sucks dick and now it's up to him and Jordan Schafer and maybe Gattis in the field more

As much as it bums me out to lose Heyward (4-6 weeks being reported), he's gotta recognize that pitch sooner and get out of the way. Watching the replay, he appears to be tracking the ball, but for some reason doesn't bail out.Electromatic wrote:Fuck the Mets! Are you fucking kidding me?

Re: Atlanta Braves
He doesn't bail out because it's a 90 mile and hour pitch at his face and he was looking off speed. Watch it again, Neise threw it right at his face, if he didn't mean too it's college baseball control for a guy who was pitching a great game until that point. As big as he is he did what he could in the time available and turned his head, how much time do you think you have to duck? It's not like a 240lb 6 foot 5 guy is going to be extremely agile either. That pitch was fucking horrible. When is he supposed to recognize it and bail out backwards the start of the windup? Bailing out of that pitch in that spot for him is counter to all the motion he has to be ready for at the plate. He moved all he could have moved. It's not like he leaned into a curveball. 60.5 feet away and 90+MPH at his face.4-bagger wrote:As much as it bums me out to lose Heyward (4-6 weeks being reported), he's gotta recognize that pitch sooner and get out of the way.
