Maybe she was trying to tell you your real fathers name..

Or ran out of life before she could finish saying ‘Be gone out of my body you vile demon!’

Do you have any strange markings hidden on your skin? Shaped like moons or snakes or weird alien faces?

Pm me if you do.

I didn't even know this existed

http://www.reelviews.net/reelviews/star ... pecial-the
November 17, 1978: A day that will live in infamy, at least for Star Wars fans. The Star Wars Holiday Special, a 2-hour TV show that aired on CBS, was intended to give fans something to bridge the gap between the summer 1977 release of A New Hope and the 1980 bow of The Empire Strikes Back. Various details were leaked beforehand: all the major characters from Star Wars would be in the special (played by the actors who originated them), a new character (Boba Fett) would be introduced, there would be an animated segment that would advance the Star Wars storyline, and various notable TV and pop stars (Bea Arthur, Harvey Korman, Diahann Carroll, Jefferson Starship) would appear. It sounded amazing. It was anything but that.

I'm gob-smacked sometimes when someone tells me they don't know this huge thing exists.

It's always someone's first day learning something...and I'll be damned if I can't find the article for this. I think it was an xkcd, maybe? Something about how just because you know about something doesn't mean everyone does. There's always a relevant xkcd so I'm sure it was that.

Yup, that was it. Just had to think it out.

That’s fucking incredible. I can watch that for hours. I wish they’d do a doc series just based on all the sounds used to make each movie. Holy crap that would be amazing.

Ooh. I didn’t know that. I’m in the middle of the Indiana Jones book right now, then after that is the Planet of the Apes tome.
