What was the Last Great Multicam Sitcom?

Post by LoathedVermin72 »

This kind of seems like a dead artform now. I’m assuming there are no good ones left anymore, so what was the last great one?

I know these probably aren’t popular choices, but I think I would say Everybody Loves Raymond and The King of Queens.

Those are the last two that I watched with regularity that I enjoyed. Based on ratings I'd have to say Big Bang Theory is the last man standing. I quit that years ago though.

It hasn't aged that well and the ending was terrible, but How I Met Your Mother is probably the last one I enjoyed with any real consistency.

Think LV is going for the "filmed in front of a live studio audience" ones.

If you go by ending date, probably Frasier, King of Queens, 70s Show or Raymond.

HIMYM is trash.

The first few seasons of Big Bang were hugely funny, but it’s been running out of gas for a while now. I’m glad it’s ending. It was time.

Before that, probably Raymond.
