Yeah, there’s no chance in hell that’s remotely true

This thread is basically just a conversation my mom drunkenly carries on with while everyone waits for her to run out of steam and go to bed.

I feel like Loathed just wanted to prove he was superior by using a cinematography term no one else knew.

Speaking of B being dumb. I thought of him the other day when I was watching a season 1 episode of Law and Order and detective Mike Logan found a body, walked over to it and put his fingers on the neck, and shook his head no.

The only worthwhile show mentioned so far is Seinfeld.

Someone please put this thread out of its misery.

I feel like you could poll college grads and come up with about 3% of them having heard the term "multicam sitcom."

Remember when NBC ran the Must See Multicam TV campaign around Seinfeld and Friends. Everyone went berserk.

The multicam sitcom is definitely a common saying to differentiate a Chers type sitcom from a Scrubs type sitcom. At least I've heard the term used many times. Whether or not a poll of Americans would agree who knows. We are a dumb country.

This thread is making me nostalgic for the 1 AM back-to-back Newsradio reruns I used to watch freshman year of college.

Nick @ Nite sitcom block for me. One of the things I miss most about having cable.

Fun to remember being young and infinite and yet for no particularly good reason spending my time watching The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis

Nick @ Nite and TV Land were big deals for me as a kid. The Honeymooners, All in the Family, Sanford & Son, Adam 12, The A-Team, The Incredible Hulk...
